Physical Description/Biology
First of all, the Jabberwocky is a dragon-like creature. Roderich originally hails from western Austria. To those who think him a dragon, he is considered dwarfish in comparison to the typical western European beast. He is only the size of a small cottage. His belly has gemstones embedded into it, from spending long hours curled on his treasure hoard. He has brilliant scales of a deep violet color and long, curling ram horns. He is built like a typical European dragon, with four legs that he walks on, but he is a tad skinnier, thus making him a bit more agile and flexible. His tale is extremely long, winding and curling to end in ferocious spikes. He has no spines down his back, and his wings are a bit frail, but he can still be rather intimidating to anyone who stumbles upon him.
Of course, bounding about as a dragon-like beast can be a nuisance, and many knights are out hunting his kind down. So, with the help of a witch, he has developed a spell that enables him to spend a good deal of time masquerading as a human. As long as he has his glasses safely nestled on his nose, he will remain in a human form. The only problem with it is that a pair of ram horns still remain visible on his head as a human. He often just tries to pass them off as nothing.
His human form, much like his true form, is small and skinny. Most human males stand a few inches taller than him. Despite this setback, he holds himself in very high regard. He has good posture and moves as elegantly as possible. Roderich keeps this form very well-groomed, buying only the best clothes and spending long hours perfecting his hair. Of course, one strand of hair always manages to poke stubbornly out.
His skin is unblemished, mirroring that of his true form. His eyes are also a violet that matches the brilliance of his scales. His nails are also rather long and sharp, almost as though they are trying to mimic the claws of a beast. The only other defining feature on his human form is a beauty mark near his lips. This mark distresses him, as he sees no reason for it to be there.
Personality
Roderich is a rather elegant and proud creature. He holds himself in high esteem, looking down on many of the people around him. He is always quick to give his opinion, no matter how rude or disrespectful it is. He acts very much like a human aristocrat, reigning over imaginary territory. This arrogance does, however, make him rather open for attack. He does not take insults well either. He is quick to lose his temper and lash out at anyone who dares return his rudeness. He has few qualms with killing creatures.
His elegance does, however, mean that most of the time he can be quite charming, acting like a gentleman. He is extremely polite and has a slight talent for being kind when it is needed. He can be stubborn, but he would much rather have people like him than make lots of enemies. He is especially kind to women, though, at times, his can become a little sexist, expecting them to behave certain ways.
Roderich can also be a bit frugal and lazy. He hoards his treasure but never really wants to do anything with it. He would much rather just admire it in peace. Then, due to his laziness, things rarely get done. The Austrian seems to expect people to do the work for him, but he never spends the money to hire anyone. He will, occasionally, go on binges and make everything look nice again (or kidnap a maiden to do it for him).
He really does not like getting his hands too dirty either. While he has no problem with stealing animals for a meal or temporarily snatching a princess, he tries not to entangle himself in more affairs than that. Roderich does not like fighting and he would appreciate it if the neighboring kingdoms just left him alone.
Finally, Roderich is rather well-read and likes to show off. He has a bad habit of messing with travelers or just lecturing them. He has an annoying habit of thinking that he can solve other people's problems. However, when it comes to his own issues or feelings, he is a hopeless wreck. Roderich is completely unable to express his feelings aside from within the arts.
Where they reside
Ashwick's Woods, in a rather large series of caves. They are lavishly furnished though, made to accommodate both humans and monsters. It is even done up with spells on the outside to resemble a castle.
Any special traits or habits?
♜He has a large hoard of gems and gold. He does not allow anyone to touch these things lest they wish to be burned alive. He will not hesitate to do so.
♜Roderich also has a bad habit of kidnapping people. Mostly young maidens. He does not eat them anymore, but he does put them to work as maids until someone comes to rescue them.
♜He has an extreme fondness for his human form, and he often gallivants off into town in it and will entertain human guests.
♜In human form, he is very talented with string instruments (particularly the piano). He also plays the flute remarkably well.
♜He likes to cook. Eating stolen sheep raw is a disgrace.
♜He has an irrational fear of sea creatures. There is no true reasoning behind it. It is much like an elephant's fear of a mouse.
♜He is a germaphobe, but he really, really hates cleaning.
♜He is a big fan of human-made food, especially cake, coffee, and alcohol.
If they happened upon a fairy godmother, what would they wish for?

Roleplay Sample
Roderich always seemed to become giddy at the mere mention of cake. To him, there could be no greater substance on the planet than cake. He could be in a terrible rage, ready to kill some unfortunate traveler for heinous crimes against him, but at the mention of cake, everything could change. Then, it would be offers of settling down for a nice cup of coffee (or tea, whichever would please you more), and having polite discussions.
Cake. A powerful substance.
So when the Austrian menace had found out about a festival in town, one in honor of all the fantastic bakeries of the kingdom, Roderich was absolutely ecstatic. No knight or bounty hunter would be able to stand in the way of the Jabberwocky from showing up at this festival. He would be there and the cake would be his.
The only problem was that he seemed to resemble a dragon, a fearful creature that would be slain before cake was to be had. It was time to visit a witch. He would be human before sunrise.

Rambles
I actually feel strange, roleplaying a German speaking country and not utilizing the Brother's Grimm.
H'okay. So, I am not sure if the Jabberwocky is an acceptable fairy tale creature, especially since it is merely from a poem of nonsense. Not really much to go on there...And, of course, Louis Carroll is English, not German/Austrian/etc. I was taking a lot of liberties with this. So, yeah. Just be like “NO” and I can easily change this to another story especiallyifitisanotherdragonstory.
